Meredith began her writing career when she joined the student newspaper in college; there she not only fell in love with words, but also how the surrounding design of images can complement a body of text. She also enjoys reading, playing piano and French horn, and traveling with her husband. She is currently a shift manager and coffee master at Starbucks, where her co-workers dubbed her the “shot queen” because she can drink more straight shots of espresso than any of her fellow baristas. Her favorite movie is “Breakfast at Tiffany’s”, and she believes the best way to listen to music is on vinyl with a cup of black coffee in hand.
